INSTRUMENTAL
1-A
prime consideration, here, is that of "sound" quality.
2-Rhythms must be impeccable for attaining tight ensemble.
3-In expressive passages, consider the second half of the note as slightly more
important, than the first half of the note.
4-Notes that are to be executed in rapid succession should never sound hurried.
An element of control promotes the feeling of maturity.
5-The tubas must never be behind the beat.
6-Involving a number of students in solo and ensemble festival events will
greatly enhance the performance level of the entire group.
