1-A prime consideration, here, is that of "sound" quality.



2-Rhythms must be impeccable for attaining tight ensemble.



3-In expressive passages, consider the second half of the note as slightly more important, than the first half of the note.



4-Notes that are to be executed in rapid succession should never sound hurried. An element of control promotes the feeling of maturity.



5-The tubas must never be behind the beat.



6-Involving a number of students in solo and ensemble festival events will greatly enhance the performance level of the entire group.
